Our History

RAM Trucking was originally established in 1983 with one truck in Sweet Home, Oregon by founders Ken Robertson, Deyanne Alexander, and Burlon Miller (R.A.M.). The company was purchased in 2002 by Dale Latimer and Dale Middlestadt and has relocated to Brownsville, Oregon, operating with the present fleet of 70 power units.

Dale Latimer

President & CEO

Dale’s career in trucking started early, washing trucks for his dad at age 10. At 18, he started driving chip truck for Willamette Industries, then spent 7 years with Gordon Trucking as an owner/operator. Prior to coming to RAM Trucking, Dale spent 10 years at the Rick Franklin Corporation as fleet manager. Dale Latimer and Dale Middlestadt purchased RAM Trucking together in 2002. In 2020, Dale Latimer became sole owner.

Vice President

Dale Middlestadt’s career in trucking started in 1974, driving tanker truck for the Truax Oil Company, then continuing as a log truck driver with Ream Trucking and Wimer Logging. In 1983, Dale started driving chip truck for Willamette Industries, continuing his career there as the Private Fleet Manager from 1990-1993, and the Transportation Manager for Truck Fleet Operations from 1993-2002. Dale Latimer and Dale Middlestadt purchased RAM Trucking together in 2002.
